Coaster (Alpha and Non-Alpha) / Lobster / Pizza Pager Type
This pager type requires the use of an LRS charging base which will allow the pagers to charge while they are stacked on top of one another and on the charging base itself. To troubleshoot:
1. Place all pagers on the charging base (15 pagers maximum per charging plate)
2. Allow pagers to charge fully overnight prior to troubleshooting any issues
3. Once the pagers have been allowed to charge for at least 8 hours, check each pager individually for the following:
- Check each pager (while it is still sitting on the base) for a RED LED
- If there is a RED LED illuminated, the pager has enough battery to attempt to re-charge
- Remove any pager that illuminates with the RED LED to ensure that it vibrates once removed
- For any pager that vibrates, attempt to page it
- If the pager receives a message and pages, it can be placed back on the charging base for use
- Repeat these steps for all pagers in your inventory at least once per month
- For any pager that does not show a RED LED on the charging base OR does not vibrate when removed from the charging base, please contact LRS Customer Support
While the limit for an individual charging plate is 15, one 10 VAC power supply can charge up to 60 Coasters. Each charging plate can be connected via a 3-5" jumper wire to a subsequent base to build a complete base to charge 60 Coasters.
For Pizza and Lobster pagers, the maximum charging base size is 30 pagers only.
Star and AdverTeaser (Paddle Type) Pagers
This pager type requires the use of an LRS charging base which will allow the pagers to charge while they are placed into individual slots on charging base rows. To troubleshoot:
1. Place each pager in its own slot on the charging base. (5 pagers per charging base row with a maximum of 5 rows or 25 pagers per power supply)
2. Allow pagers to charge fully for 8 hours (overnight is preferred) prior to troubleshooting any issue
3. Once the pagers have been allowed to charge for at least 8 hours, check each pager individually for the following:
- Check each slot on the charging base (while a pager is in the slot) for a RED LED to indicate it is charging
- If there is a RED LED illuminated, the pager has enough battery to attempt to re-charge / page
- Remove any pager that illuminates with the RED LED to ensure that it vibrates once removed
- For any pager that vibrates, attempt to page it
- If the pager receives a message and pages, it can be placed back in a slot on the charging base for use
- For any pager that does not show a RED LED while in a slot on the charging base OR does not vibrate when removed from the charging base, please contact LRS Customer Support
- Repeat these steps for all pagers in your inventory at least once per month
While the limit for an individual charging row is 5, one 12V DC power supply can charge up to 25 Star / Adverteaser (Paddle) pagers. Each charging row can be connected via a 3-5" jumper wire to a subsequent row to build a complete base to charge 25 Star / Adverteaser (Paddle) pagers.
