There are two ways to access the wizard to add repeaters to the Table Tracker system. One is through the initial pairing of the iPad wizard, once the gateway pairing is complete, the wizard walks you through the steps of adding repeaters. You can also add repeaters at a later time, you can launch the wizard by simply tapping on the Menu icon in the upper left hand corner of the screen and select Devices. Once on the Devices screen and tap on Add Repeater. This will launch the repeater wizard.
Navigation to add a repeater
The first page in the wizard reads: Add one repeater at a time.
Plug in one repeater and unplug all others. Light should be solid green, and not blinking. If not, reset the repeater by pushing the small button on the side of repeater 5 times quickly and the light should become solid green. Then, select Pair Repeater below.
Repeater wizard, first page.
1 - Plug in the first repeater and notice how the light behaves.
A - If the light is solid, it means the repeater is ready to join the ZigBee network with the iPad.
B - If the lights are blinking then you’ll need to press this button right here 5 times, quickly to reset it and the light will become solid green.
2 - Now tap on Pair Repeater to initiate the pairing mode in the Gateway. This tells the Gateway that we might have a device trying to join the network.

On the next page in the wizard, there is a timer on the bottom right corner of the page counting down from 4 minutes, which is how long the Gateway's pairing mode lasts. If for some reason the repeater light is not blinking green, indicating that it has successfully joined the network before the timer runs out, you will need to tap on Pair Next Repeater to re-initiate the pairing mode on the Gateway.
Once the light on the repeater begins blinking, we know that it has successfully joined the Gateway ZigBee network.
The number of repeaters needed varies by customer. If you have more repeaters to add, tap on Pair Next Repeater. Here, we are again reminded to only pair one at a time. You need to unplug the repeater that was just paired and plug in the new one and follow the steps again.
Tap on Done when you are done adding all the repeaters in your system, then plug them all in.
