Certain activities require for NPU to be uninstalled and then re-installed. Please follow the steps outlined below to restore NPU:
1 - It is important that your retained your NPU backed up file to ensure a fast system recovery.
2 - On your server, open the install folder and, double click on the application file - npusetup.exe. This will start the installation process.
3 - Click on Next on the Welcome screen of the installation wizard to get started.
4 - The pre-populated settings are the recommended ones, edit as needed and click on Next.
5 - Complete the Administrator Settings fields and click on Next. Note that once the NPU database is restored the settings will be overriden with the database credentials.
6 - Review and confirm the Installations Settings Summary and click on Install.
7 - Wait while the install completes. See progress on the bar indicating the percentage of completion. Click on Next when complete.
8 - The NPU database is ready to be restored. Click on Finish to view the url information
9 - Click on the Start menu and launch NetPage Unlimited Server Monitor, sometimes you need to navigate to All Programs first.
10 - When the NetPage Server Monitor opens, click on Restore.
11 - Browse to select the NPU database data file you would like to restore and click on Next.
12 - Wait while the restore completes. See progress on the bar indicating the percentage of completion. Click on Next when complete.
13 - The NPU database has been restored. Click on Finish to exit.
